Northwest Women in Business Award
HEALTHY PAWS IS SHINING EXAMPLE FOR PET INDUSTRY.
The winners of the 2nd Northwest Women in Business Awards, which showcased some of the region’s best entrepreneurial talent, were revealed at a glittering awards ceremony in Warrington on 23rd January.
Lisa Horne of Merseyside based company Healthy Paws was named Runner-up, in the Northwest Women in Business Awards. The Awards aim to bring together women behind some of the Northwest’s most innovative companies.
Healthy Paws manufactures and supplies its own brand of certified holistic dog food and treats. The awards panel were impressed with the unique food, and how it meets the demands of the modern dog owner, whilst achieving the highest standards, and ensures a healthy diet for the dog. They recognised Lisa’s enthusiasm, drive and determination to create a truly healthy, range of food and treats for dogs.
On receiving the award Lisa stated, “The most important thing for me in winning this award is the recognition by others of your own vision and values. It is very gratifying, and absolutely fantastic to know that there is an appreciation and acknowledgement of what you believe in. It is hoped that we can use this to further enhance the brand, and provide a healthier outlook for all dogs.”
The event, which was attended by 260 people from across the region, was hosted by the Northwest Women’s Enterprise Forum (NWWEF) and supported by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and Bolton Business Ventures.
